The Salmo Shallow Running Rattlin’ Hornet is the newest and smallest addition to the iconic Rattlin’ Hornet family, designed to deliver big performance from a compact 3.5cm body. Ideal for targeting a wide range of predatory species, this ultra-small lure excels when fish are feeding on tiny prey or when pressured waters demand a subtle presentation. Despite its size, it stands out as the smallest lure on the market to feature an internal long-cast system, allowing anglers to achieve impressive casting distances from both bank and boat.

Built around Salmo’s Infinity Cast System (SICS) and an internal rattle chamber, the lure offers enhanced casting accuracy alongside added acoustic attraction to draw fish in from further afield. Its shallow-running design dives to just 0.7m, making it perfect for working over shallow margins, near-surface structure, and weed tops. The floating, high-impact plastic body is extremely durable and fitted with a tough polycarbonate lip for consistent action and reliability.
Finished with realistic 3D eyes and manufactured using advanced Ultrasonic Body Welding (UBW), each lure is individually hand tuned and tank tested to ensure flawless performance straight out of the box. Equipped with premium Mustad KVD hooks and Rasco split rings made in the USA, the Salmo Shallow Running Rattlin’ Hornet is proudly made in Poland and built to the highest standards for anglers who demand precision, durability, and proven fish-catching ability.
