Pulsar Oryx XG35 LRF Thermal Imaging Monocular Grey
Pulsar Oryx XG35 LRF Thermal Imaging Monocular Grey
The Pulsar Oryx LRF XG35 Thermal Imaging Monocular redefines handheld thermal performance, offering powerful capabilities in a compact, ergonomic design. Equipped with a highly sensitive 640x480, 12µm thermal sensor and a fast 35mm f1.0 objective lens, this unit delivers superb image detail, even in challenging conditions. With a thermal sensitivity of <20mK sNETD system, and <40mK NETD sensor, it ensures exceptional contrast and clarity, making detection and identification possible at distances up to 1800 metres.
Designed for intuitive use in the field, the Oryx LRF XG35 introduces a rear-positioned focus wheel for effortless one-handed operation, while a symmetrical body and ambidextrous wrist strap allow comfortable use in either hand. Digital image stabilisation, previously seen in Pulsar’s flagship models, ensures smooth, shake-free viewing when scanning or observing over distance.
A discreet yet powerful built-in laser rangefinder sits beneath the lens, offering precise distance measurements up to 1500m with ±1m accuracy. Perfect for hunters, surveyors, and professionals who need real-time range data without compromise on size or handling.
Packed with modern digital functionality, the Oryx LRF XG35 features 2.5–20x magnification with 8x digital zoom, picture-in-picture mode, and nine colour palettes, all displayed on a crisp 1024x768 AMOLED HD screen. It also supports video recording with audio and still image capture, storing content to the device’s 64GB internal memory. Media can be accessed via USB-C or shared through the Stream Vision 2 app, which also enables wireless control, live streaming, and firmware updates.
The device runs on a dual battery system, combining internal power with a swappable APS5 battery for up to 12 hours of runtime, ensuring long-lasting performance in the field. Rated IP67 waterproof and operational between -25 to +40°C, the Oryx LRF XG35 is built to endure with a rugged magnesium alloy body that weighs just 500g.

A highly sensitive 640×480, 12µm, <20mK sNETD thermal sensor, combined with a powerful 35mm f1.0 objective lens, provides remarkable levels of image detail — enabling easy detection and identification at distances reaching up to 1800m.
A wide 12.5° field of view is perfect for searching and scanning, providing a clear view of your surroundings, and a 2.5-20x magnification range and 8x digital zoom allows for closer inspection and enhanced identification.
Digital Image Stabilisation
First showcased in the Merger LRF XT50, digital image stabilisation reduces the effects of camera shake and image blur caused by shaking hands or bumpy terrain, enhancing image quality when scanning the FOV or observing objects and animals at long range.
Built-in Laser Rangefinder
Blink and you’d miss it… A seamlessly integrated precision laser rangefinder can be found under the objective lens, providing an incredible 1500m distance measuring range with an accuracy of ±1m, whilst taking up a fraction of the footprint found on previous LRF-equipped monoculars. These distance measurements can prove crucial in the field, providing valuable distance data and allowing you to make informed decisions.
Optimised for One-handed Use
The Oryx LRF XG35’s focus wheel is located just in front of the viewfinder, allowing for one-handed focus adjustments, ushering in a new era of single-handed thermal observation. A four-button arrangement has been ergonomically considered to achieve comfortable operation, offering control over all of the most commonly used digital functions.
An ambidextrous wrist strap and symmetrical bodyshell design enables comfortable left- or right-handed operation, and haptic feedback will provide a short vibration when a button is pressed — confirming or alerting you to any button presses.
Dual Battery System
Equipped with Pulsar’s innovative dual-battery system, the Oryx LRF combines an internal rechargeable battery with a removeable, rechargeable APS5 battery for up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power distribution. Both batteries will display their charge percentage on-screen, allowing for accurate power monitoring. Each battery can be charged via the USB-C port.
