Pampeano Dog Lead Sereno
Pampeano Dog Lead Sereno
Meaning ‘serene’ in Spanish, the Sereno design is a favourite among our customers, proving to be a popular polo belt already. This colour scheme is inspired by the cool summer nights of Rio de la Plata in Argentina. The pattern has been hand-stitched into the leather using the same artisanal skills that go into creating all of our iconic pampeano polo belts, which take up to five hours to hand-weave. The same leather is also used; genuine, vegetable tanned top grain Argentine leather handpicked from the local tanneries in Argentina by our expert craftsmen. The leather is thick and strong, perfect for the more eager dogs, putting your mind at ease regarding the safety and security of your dog. The stainless steel buckles and stitching is also reliable, creating a product that has been made to last.

Care Instructions
Like all luxury leather goods, this is a natural product so Pampeano have included some care instructions on how to maintain the lustre of your Pampeano polo dog collar.
Maintaining the leather
To maintain the richness of the leather, you should nourish it with a good leather conditioner every so often. Apply a small amount onto a dry cloth and rub into the leather. Use a separate cloth to buff it until all of the conditioner has been absorbed.
As with all leather goods, try and keep your polo dog collar dry. If it does get wet, just blot with a towel as soon as possible and let it air dry. Do not machine wash.
Maintaining the thread
The vibrant hand-stitched pampa patterns on their polo dog collars consist of high density waxed saddlery threads, meaning they are robust and easy to clean.
Just use soapy water and a non-coloured sponge to scrub the threads in the direction of the stitching (across the width of the dog collar and not the length). Use a damp cloth to remove any excess soap, and towel dry as soon as possible.
Snagged a thread? Because of the sport from which Pampeano's polo dog collars originated, they are made to be durable and hardwearing. In the unlikely event that a thread has come loose, simply tuck the end back under the threads next to it and fix in place using a little superglue. Make sure you tuck it in on the back of the dog collar and repair will be undetectable.
