The Matrix X8 X-Power Carp 45cm Band Rig is designed for anglers looking for a convenient, ready-tied rig for commercial carp fishing. Combining the X-Power Carp designation with a 45cm length and a bait band attachment, this rig offers a practical option for anglers who want to prepare their tackle efficiently while maintaining a consistent approach to presenting suitable hookbaits.
The 45cm length provides a longer rig arrangement than compact 10cm and 15cm alternatives, making it an option for anglers who prefer a more extended presentation. Rig length can influence how the hookbait sits in relation to the rest of the setup and may affect the way the bait is presented under different fishing conditions. The most suitable length will depend on the chosen fishing method, venue characteristics, water depth, bait selection and the feeding behaviour of the carp.
The bait band attachment provides a straightforward method of securing compatible hookbaits, particularly appropriately sized pellets. This arrangement allows anglers to attach suitable bait without needing to prepare a separate bait attachment system for every rig. When correctly matched to the hookbait, a band can help keep the bait in position during casting and presentation, making it a practical choice for anglers who regularly use pellets on commercial fisheries.
Designed for commercial carp fishing, the Matrix X8 X-Power Carp 45cm Band Rig can be included in a selection of ready-tied tackle for match fishing and pleasure sessions. Commercial venues often require anglers to adapt their approach according to fish activity, feeding patterns and the areas being targeted. Having rigs of different lengths available gives anglers more flexibility when choosing a suitable presentation for the conditions.
- Perfect when catching huge fish and strength is essential.
- Extremely sharp and durable hook.
- Ideal when fishing hard pellets or dumbells.
- Tied using Soft Steel monofilament.
- Assembled using large Matrix super soft bait bands.
- Longer length suited for bomb or waggler fishing tactics.
