Freyr & Devik UTS 300 FM Ultimate Silence Sound Moderator - .30 Black
Freyr & Devik UTS 300 FM Ultimate Silence Sound Moderator - .30 Black
The Freyr & Devik Ultimate Silence 3D Front Mount (FM) moderators build upon the extraordinary UTS line with a 3D-printed Titanium core and baffle stack, all within a thick aerospace aluminium housing.
The FM series moderators are specialist front-mounted silencers (end of barrel) offering phenomenal sound suppression beyond the muzzle, plus offering the ability to use a magnum-rated moderator on a rifle without removing iron sights. This can be particularly useful on heavy calibres where manufacturers usually include open sights as standard.

The Freyr & Devik UTS 300 FM Ultimate Silence sound moderator in .30 calibre is a high-performance, front-mounted suppressor designed to deliver maximum sound reduction and recoil control for full-power rifle cartridges. It is engineered for use with a wide range of .30 calibre rifles, including those chambered in cartridges such as .308 and .30-06, making it suitable for both hunting and precision shooting applications. The design focuses on achieving the quietest possible shooting experience by using a large internal volume and advanced gas management.
Inside the moderator, a complex internal core structure is used to control the flow of high-pressure gases released when a shot is fired. These gases are slowed, cooled, and redirected through multiple stages, which significantly reduces the sound signature and softens the recoil impulse. The result is not only a quieter shot but also improved shooting comfort and better control, particularly during repeated firing. The larger size compared to compact suppressors allows it to manage gas more effectively, which is key to its high level of performance.
As a front-mounted unit, the moderator extends forward from the muzzle, increasing the overall length of the rifle and adding weight toward the front. This added mass can improve stability and reduce muzzle movement, although it does change the balance of the rifle. The construction is robust and designed to handle the pressures of repeated use with powerful rifle cartridges, ensuring durability over time. It is typically a sealed design, meaning it does not require disassembly for cleaning, but proper care and maintenance help preserve its performance. Overall, it is intended for shooters who prioritise maximum suppression and recoil reduction over compact size.
- Closed unit with 3D printed full titanium baffle stack
- Thicker outer aluminium housing for better thermal properties
- Reduced heat haze for clearer sightlines
- Optimal corrosion resistance and longevity
- Excellent suppression-to-weight ratio
- Front mounted design ideal for maximum suppression on heavy calibres
