The Fox Mini Micron X 2 Rod Set is a modern reworking of the iconic original, delivering all the reliability of the old-school classic with a host of updated features tailored for today’s angler. Compact yet packed with technology, this set offers precise bite detection and customisable settings to suit any fishing situation.
Each alarm features adjustable volume with seven levels, four tone options, and four sensitivity settings, allowing you to fine-tune your setup to the conditions. It includes dual Ø5mm high-visibility LEDs in green, blue, red, or orange, with colour selection controlled by holding the volume button and pressing the sensitivity button. Brightness levels can also be adjusted by holding the volume button and pressing the tone button, ensuring clear visual indication day or night.

The alarms are equipped with drop-back differential for advanced bite detection, and the reliable D-Tec Sensing System paired with roller wheel technology ensures consistent, accurate performance. Designed for use with the Mini Micron X Receiver (sold separately), this set also includes a 2.5mm power out socket for connecting illuminated indicators such as the Fox Illuminated Swinger.
Other key features include a low battery warning system—flashing red LEDs every two seconds when power runs low—a crisp cone speaker for clear sound, and rubber inlays that protect your rod while keeping it securely in place during hard takes. The alarms operate via a simple on/off toggle switch, include a knurled locking collar for added stability, and run on compact N Type/LR1 batteries. Returns
If it is deemed necessary to return an item for exchange or refund, please note the following:
Goods returned must be in original packaging, with labels still attached.
Notification of intention to return must be provided within 14 days of receipt.
Goods must be delivered to us within 14 days of return notification.
Goods must have accompanying copy receipt for return.
Goods returned unwanted are subject to a minimum postage charge of £3.50 or the actual delivery costs incurred to us, whichever is the greater.
Returned goods must be in new condition, i.e. unused and unmarked with labels attached.
Costs incurred in returning items are your responsibility.
