The reel included in the combo is a 200 size baitcasting reel with a left-hand retrieve, meaning the handle is turned with the left hand while the rod is typically held in the right hand. The reel contains four ball bearings, which support smooth gear rotation and stable spool movement during casting and retrieving. The reel also features a 7.7:1 gear ratio, which means the spool rotates 7.7 times for each full turn of the handle.
