The Blaser R8 Pro Success is one of the most popular straight pull rifles in the UK, due to Blaser's commitment to quality and reliability. The semi-weight barrel option offers an increase in stability when shooting, as well as better heat dispersion than a standard barrel. The barrel of this .243 has been factory fluted and is threaded 17x1. The fluting both helps with weight and heat distribution. The Pro Success thumbhole stock also helps with stability when shooting through the ergonomically designed thumbhole stock that reduces vexatious flinching when shooting. The stock has also been inlet for a 19mm diameter barrel over the standard 17mm barrel. The barrel can be changed easily in the field, allowing for travel with only one rifle. When changing calibre families, the bolt head will have to be changed through a simple procedure.
