The Bisley Phosphor Bronze Brush for rifle calibres is a standard firearm cleaning tool used to remove stubborn fouling from inside rifle barrels. It attaches to a cleaning rod via a threaded fitting and is manufactured in specific calibres such as .17, .22, .243, .270, .30 and others, ensuring a correct fit inside the bore for effective cleaning.
The brush is made from tightly wound phosphor bronze bristles around a twisted wire core. This material is selected because it is strong enough to break down carbon, powder residue, and light copper fouling, while still being softer than barrel steel, which reduces the risk of damage when used properly. The bristles are arranged to provide full 360-degree contact with the inside of the barrel for thorough cleaning.
In use, the brush is typically applied after solvent has been introduced into the barrel. It is pushed and pulled through the bore several times to loosen and lift fouling that has built up from firing. Once the brushing stage is complete, dry patches or wool mops are used to remove loosened debris and apply protective oil if required.

Returned goods must be in new condition, i.e. unused and unmarked with labels attached.
