Very good condition Beretta 690 Field III over and under shotgun. The 690 Field is a variant of the 692 Sporter designed for field use. In keeping with the larger 692, the 690 offers a low profile receiver with larger hinge pins and a stronger locking mechanism than the 680 series. This shotgun feels a little larger in the hand than the 686, but still shoulders easily and swings through nicely. As a field gun, there is a bit more recoil than from a sporter, but there is little muzzle flip. The 690 has an engraved game scene and higher grade walnut than base line field guns, making it an eye catching sight in the field or on the clay ground. This pre-owned example has a few cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. Mechanically, the action is still tight and locks up well. Please note that although this is a multi-choke shotgun it is provided with 1/4 and 1/2 choke only.

A game scene engraving adorns the action, with floral accents extending to the shoulders, underside, top lever and trigger guard. Proofed for high performance steel, steelium barels with Optima HP choking system and a 3" chamber, this Beretta 690 III certainly won't be falling behind anytime soon.
