EARLY PATTERN, 1908 B.S.A. Improved Model D, .177 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle
This is an excellent original BSA Improved Model D Air Rifle. These rifles were made with both straight hand and pistol grip stocks. Early pattern examples had Lincoln Jeffries patent bayonet type under leave cocking arms. This example has its original straight hand grip wood stock with chequered panels and steel butt plate. It has a 19” barrel and measures 43.5” overall. It has a blade foresight and adjustable dial rear sight. The left side of the weapon bears the serial number '23536' The loading port is marked ‘Load’. The loading tap has patent detail ‘Patent 8246/06’ and underside of the cocking lever ‘Lincoln Jeffries patent 8761/04’. The top of the cylinder is stamped ‘The BSA Air Rifle (Improved Model D) The Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltd Sole Manufacturers’. The rifle cocks, loads & fires as it should with good spring action. The stock is Walnut and is of excellent quality and in very good condition. It has the BSA Stacked Guns emblem on one side.

Notification of intention to return must be provided within 14 days of receipt.
Goods must be delivered to us within 14 days of return notification.
Goods must have accompanying copy receipt for return.
Goods returned unwanted are subject to a minimum postage charge of £3.50 or the actual delivery costs incurred to us, whichever is the greater.
Returned goods must be in new condition, i.e. unused and unmarked with labels attached.
Costs incurred in returning items are your responsibility.
