The Anschutz 1422 Sporter De Luxe is built on the same action that dominated the Olympic Games for years and when shooting this divine rifle, you immediately understand why. This pre-owned example is in very good condition overall, and supplied with a Redfield Widefield 3X-9X riflescope secured using double screw mounts. It is screw-cut 1/2" UNF ready for a moderator and features a set trigger function.

This high quality 1422 Sporter De Luxe model was manufactured in Germany in 1978. It uses the legendary 54 Match action that enabled the manufacturer to monopolise gold medals in the Olympic games.
A double set trigger ensures a very light let off. The barrel is screw-cut for a moderator.
The rifle is fitted with a Redfield Widefield 4 Plex Reticle Lo Pro 3X-9X riflescope. This scope was made by Redfield during the 1980's in Denver Colorado and was one of their best selling models. The optics provide brilliant, crisp, clear and sharp viewing. The windage and elevation adjustments are functioning perfectly as well as the magnification adjustment ring. It suits the rifle perfectly on many levels.
This rifle has been set up by its previous owner to such a standard that it is one of the most accurate rifles we have shot to date. We would urge its new owner to retain its current configuration and marvel at what it can achieve.
