Compressed air cylinders tend to be manufactured with rounded bottoms, this can be a nuisance when needing to stand your cylinder somewhere. Our cylinder boots not only provide a flat bottom to aid in standing the cylinder, but the 5.5" & 7" boots have squared edges to help prevent the cylinder rolling when laid on its side.

The Air Cylinder Boot (5–7 Litre) is a protective base cover designed to fit the bottom of high-pressure air cylinders used for filling PCP air rifles. It provides a stable foundation for the cylinder when it is placed upright, helping to prevent it from tipping over and reducing the risk of damage to the cylinder base or valve assembly.

Typically made from durable rubber or heavy-duty polymer, the boot absorbs impact and protects the cylinder from knocks, scratches, and wear during storage or transport. It also improves grip on smooth surfaces, helping the cylinder remain steady when standing on workshop floors, vehicles, or shooting benches.

The design is shaped to match standard 5–7 litre cylinder sizes, which are commonly used in airgun filling systems. It is fitted by sliding over the base of the cylinder and remains in place through friction fit. Some versions may also help reduce noise and vibration when the cylinder is set down.

In practical use, the boot adds an extra layer of safety and stability, particularly important given the high pressure stored inside air cylinders. It is a simple but useful accessory that helps protect both the equipment and surrounding surfaces during regular handling and use.
