Very good condition of this popular target springer from Weihrauch. The new style HW 98 has a heavy barrel shroud to help keep recoil under control, as well as an adjustable cheek piece and rubber butt pad, ensuring that it is a perfectly comfortable rifle to shoot. Built for target work, this rifle offers one of the best springer target platforms in Weihrauch's range. This pre-owned example has been well cared for throughout its life and has only a few very minor dings to the woodwork and barrel shroud. It has a sound moderator and a Hawke Fast Mount 3-12x50 AO IR Mil Dot scope fitted.

The Weihrauch HW98 S is the only spring gun in the range to feature an adjustable stock with an adjustable rubber butt pad and therefore the rifle will fit you like a glove. With the adjustable height cheek piece this rifle rifle was built for scope use. The HW98 S also benefits from a 1/2" UNF thread, allowing you to add a sound moderator for additional sound attenuation.
It's a substantial rifle and with the heavy barrel shroud makes it steadier on the aim and mutes the effect of the spring piston recoil properties. As with the majority of the range, the HW98 S is fitted with the highly adjustable Rekord trigger unit which can be adjusted to suit any taste and will deliver first class shot release every time.
