The Bisley Air Rifle Cleaning Kit is an all-in-one maintenance set designed specifically for airguns, including both air rifles and air pistols. It is intended for routine cleaning and upkeep of barrels in calibres such as .177 and .22, which are the most commonly used airgun sizes. The kit is usually supplied in a compact storage case that keeps all components organised and easy to transport.

Inside the kit is typically a multi-piece cleaning rod that screws together to reach the full length of an airgun barrel. It also includes bronze brushes for scrubbing fouling, wool mops for applying oil and finishing the bore, and a jag or pellet removal tool for clearing stuck pellets or pushing patches through the barrel. Each calibre has dedicated attachments to ensure a proper fit inside the bore for effective cleaning.

The cleaning process supported by this kit usually involves several stages. A solvent or cleaning fluid is applied first to loosen lead deposits and residue from pellets. A brush is then used to scrub the barrel, followed by dry patches or mops to remove debris. Finally, a light oiling step is used to protect the internal surfaces from corrosion during storage.

This kit is designed for regular maintenance rather than heavy industrial cleaning. It helps maintain consistent accuracy by preventing build-up inside the barrel, which can affect pellet flight and performance. It is widely used by airgun shooters for keeping equipment in good condition after practice or pest control use.

  • Includes rods, brushes, mops, and pellet removal tools for .177 and .22 airguns
  • Designed for routine barrel cleaning, fouling removal, and maintenance
  • Compact all-in-one kit helps maintain accuracy and prevent internal build-up
