Please alert me via email when this product is back in stock.

The attractive Tornado design featured on this leather dog lead consists of vibrant white, grey and navy threads that have been hand-stitched into the eye-catching block diamond pampa patterns that Pampeano is so well known for. This embroidery is made from hard-wearing, waxed saddlery threads, durable enough for those long country dog walks and easy to clean.

The leather used on Pampeano's dog leads is exactly the same as that used for their iconic Pampeano polo belts. Only the finest leather available is hand selected by Pampeano's craftsman, and checked for imperfections before purchasing. They are experts in their field and years of experience and knowledge has enabled them to source the very best. The leather has been naturally vegetable tanned and only improves with age. It is strong, durable and made to last, perfectly designed for those dogs that like to pull. Strong chrome hardware has been used so you can ensure the safety and security of your dog.

Care Instructions

Like all luxury leather goods, this is a natural product so Pampeano have included some care instructions on how to maintain the lustre of your Pampeano polo dog lead.

Maintaining the leather

To maintain the richness of the leather, you should nourish it with a good leather conditioner every so often. Apply a small amount onto a dry cloth and rub into the leather. Use a separate cloth to buff it until all of the conditioner has been absorbed.

As with all leather goods, try and keep your polo dog lead dry. If it does get wet, just blot with a towel as soon as possible and let it air dry. Do not machine wash.

Maintaining the thread

The vibrant hand-stitched pampa patterns on their polo dog leads consist of high density waxed saddlery threads, meaning they are robust and easy to clean.

Just use soapy water and a non-coloured sponge to scrub the threads in the direction of the stitching (across the width of the dog lead and not the length). Use a damp cloth to remove any excess soap, and towel dry as soon as possible.

Snagged a thread? Because of the sport from which Pampeano's polo dog leads originated, they are made to be durable and hardwearing. In the unlikely event that a thread has come loose, simply tuck the end back under the threads next to it and fix in place using a little superglue. Make sure you tuck it in on the back of the dog lead and repair will be undetectable.
