The dedicated base mix balanced wafters from Mainline Baits are incredibly easy to incorporate into your rigs. Simply thread a wafter onto your chosen hair rig and allow the weight of your hook to set the slow sinking wafter into a ‘critically-balanced’ position ready for any investigation from a tempted fish.
After a long and extensive testing period Mainline Baits have been able to combine their unique wafter mix with the highly popular Dedicated Freezer Bait flavours. This provides the modern day angler the ability to fish balanced hookbaits, turning more bites into secure hook holds and landed fish.
A general guide to Wafter/Hook Ratios:
- 12mm - Size 8
- 15mm - Size 6
- 18mm - Size 4
(Guideline only - Check rigs prior to fishing. Add counterbalance where necessary as hook weights may vary).

Returns
If it is deemed necessary to return an item for exchange or refund, please note the following:
Goods returned must be in original packaging, with labels still attached.
Notification of intention to return must be provided within 14 days of receipt.
Goods must be delivered to us within 14 days of return notification.
Goods must have accompanying copy receipt for return.
Goods returned unwanted are subject to a minimum postage charge of £3.50 or the actual delivery costs incurred to us, whichever is the greater.
Returned goods must be in new condition, i.e. unused and unmarked with labels attached.
Costs incurred in returning items are your responsibility.
