Very good condition Beretta DT11 Black Edition with carbon fibre rib. The DT11 has long been the pinnacle of Beretta's competition shotguns and these shotguns have won the most medals at Olympic and World level. This pre-owned example dates from 2016 but has not seen much work and remains in good condition. There are some cosmetic marks on the woodwork, but nothing unexpected considering age and use. The Black Edition has a striking black action in attractively figured wood, making for an eye catching sight on the clay ground. The carbon fibre top rib helps reduce overall weight and smoothens out the swing, which is helpful on a gun of this build.
The DT11 is a perfectly weighted competition gun, designed to soak up the recoil of hundreds of cartridges per session. The pleasingly chunky pistol grip and forend fill the hand well. Nudging the scales at 8lb 2oz, they swing smoothly to ensure consistent movement through the targets. There's a reason that 14 out of 15 medals in the 2024 Olympics were won by shooters using the DT11.
The shotgun is supplied with the original makers hard case, stock and barrel weights, set of 5 chokes and key, as well as replacement firing pins and beads.

The DT11 is Beretta's flagship boxlock competition gun with an Olympic pedigree. The ultimate competition shotgun, they feature an exceptionally strong cross bolt locking mechanism and a removable trigger unit. The Steelium Pro barrels boast an internal profile created to diminish felt recoil, improve shot patterning and reduce muzzle rise, with no loss of ballistic performance.
You may not be surprised to learn that the ‘DT’ in DT11 stands for detachable trigger. In fact, the trigger unit is quickly and easily swapped giving the competition shooter peace of mind. The clever construction of the trigger unit also facilitates lighter trigger pulls by means of a strong V spring mechanism. This can be adjusted to give a very crisp, custom trigger feel.
At the core of the DT11 is an incredibly solid, steel receiver, CNC machined from a solid block of specially formulated steel. The action is wider and heavier than other Beretta models, not only for added strength, but also to put more weight between the hands.
