The DT11 Gold has been created to celebrate the DT11's many successes, not least its cachet of medals at the last Olympics! The DT11 Gold, is a limited-edition version of Beretta’s spectacular competition shotgun. The silver receiver is embellished with gold-plated decorations; the familiar blue line around the action is replaced with a gold-plated version, as is the iconic trident logo on the bottom of the receiver. The fences are embellished with a repeated engraving of the word 'gold' forming a textured finish that reduces the light reflection when shooting.

The DT11 is Beretta’s top-of-the-line competition shotgun, used by some of the world’s best clay shooters. It is built around a vault-tough cross-bolt action receiver, 3mm wider than its predecessor’s (the DT10) creating a stronger and even more durable receiver.

FORMIDABLE RECEIVER
The DT11 Gold's receiver, with its 43 mm width and increased thickness at the sideplates, guarantees greater stability when shouldering. The locking system consists of the replaceable trapezoidal shoulders, which are unmistakable, and the cross bolt that is typical of Beretta DT series over-and-unders. The Nistan finish ensures optimum resistance to corrosion and wear. It creates an elegant contrast with the lines that contour the receiver, which is skilfully mirror-polished. The graphics that distinguish the DT11 stand out in gold.

STEELIUM PRO BARRELS
The Steelium PRO barrels boast an internal tube profile with a very elongated progressive triple cone that reaches as far as 480mm from the muzzle.

The advantages are:
- A clearly reduced perception of the weapon's muzzle raise.
- More dense and compact shot patterns with very high penetration and target hitting performance.
- Quicker and more accurate second shot.

The production technology of the Beretta barrels, forging the proven tri-alloy steel into an outstanding ballistic jewel, is achieved through unique means. Gundrilling, cold hammer forging and special vacuum relieving give the steel alloy the ideal mechanical characteristic for superior ballistic performance.

The special internal geometry of the Optima-Bore HP barrel is designed to offer high performance even when using steel shot. The skeet version is equipped with five interchangeable Beretta Optimachoke HP choke tubes.

The top rib of the barrels features newly designed barrel bridges that are internally hollow. This improves the barrels' balance and helps to better dissipate the heat when the tubes overheat.

STOCK
The stock is modelled using premium, grade 3 walnut wood and is available with a 35/56 stock drop for the skeet and a 29/39 one for the trap, the latter also available for left-handed people. The recoil pad, as usual in Beretta competition shotguns, is made of 20mm-thick Microcore® which provides a perfect grip on the shoulder. The oil finish ensures that the wood is more water resistant. The step 1 chequering provides a refined look, as well as a firmer and more comfortable grip.

Standard on the DT11 is the B-Fast stock balancing system. This allows you to customise the weight and balance of the shotgun by adding/removing weights inside the stock, to compensate the natural variability of the wood density and find your perfect ratio between rear, mid and forward of your DT11 shotgun. Some variants of the DT11 are with Beretta's exclusive B-Fast comb system, which lets you adapt the stock’s drop and cast to your exact specifications.

IMPROVED OPERATION
The DT11 Gold's removable trigger group can be rapidly removed and replaced when required. The trigger is fully adjustable and can be repositioned by up to 9mm, thus always allowing the shooter to find the perfect fit and length of pull. The steel leaf springs assure crisp trigger pulls and a high percussion speed.

The re-designed top lever improves the grip, reduces stress and provides more comfort for both right- and left-handed shooters. Also, the shape of the safety selector has been redesigned for a better grip and smoother operation, to keep the mind of the competitor where it matters, without any fatigue or distraction.

The fore-end iron has a replaceable insert made from a material with a high surface resistance. This ensures, year after year, the perfect tightness of the fore-end iron to barrel assembly.

Beretta's DT11 Gold is ready with their B-Fast adjustable barrel balance. The weight of the barrel is adjustable through a set of weights that can be fixed to the side ribs, under the fore-end. The combined use of these weights with the stock balancing system allows an hyper-precise fit of the balance, compensating the natural variability of the wood density and improving the range of customisation for the shooter.
