This elegant rifle began its life in Cologne, Germany in 1959 when it was sold to an enthusiastic hunter looking for a lightweight rifle to stalk her local population of Roe Deer. Over time the rifle was passed down from her, through her descendants until it eventually settled here in the UK in the hands of the original owner's granddaughter.

The rifle features a chequered, dark walnut Monte Carlo stock. It has a twin set trigger that is superbly crisp. Unset the trigger has a pull weight of 3lbs 7oz. When set the trigger is just an incredible 8oz! The magazine holds 5 rounds and is of all-alloy construction as you would expect of a rifle of this period. The rifle is equipped with a Zeiss Diavari 1.5-6x36 (s/n: 943478) that has a 30mm tube and for some it is considered to be the most versatile magnification range possible;
1.5-3x = perfect for close-quarter or driven game.
3-5x = Ideal for woodland stalking or from a hide
6x = Open ground
From a period that is often referred to as Zeiss' Glory days this superb riflescope has a tapered 3-post reticule is set in first focal plane.

Overall this rifle is in good condition considering its age and the fact that it has had such an active life. it does show many cosmetic indications of use but remains solid and highly functional.
