The EV2 has a rotary swaged barrel not known to be on any other air rifle. While most barrels are accurate, the use of rotary swageing allows tight manufacturing limits to be used and so improves the final quality of the barrel.

The EV2 took 18 months from drawing board to manufacture and then an additional 12 months of shooting trials followed to ensure top performance. This level of time and effort has produced a precision shooting instrument rather than just a rifle. All of this makes the EV2 the best all-around, state-of-the-art field target rifle on the market.
